How do I make a return?
First, please read our return policy terms below to verify that your purchase is eligible for a return. If your purchase does qualify for a return, please send an email to [email protected] with your order number and the reason for the return. You will receive a return authorization (RA) number in 1-2 business days
What is the return policy for AireMed?
Returnable products may request a return within 7 days of receipt for a refund.
All returned products require a Return Authorization (RA) number. Products returned without the RA number will not be credited. To receive a refund, your item(s) must be returned within 14 days (about 2 weeks) from the date of the RA number provided by AireMed.
Please inspect your product upon delivery. If the product is damaged, please refuse the delivery. If your item was delivered without a signature and is damaged or incorrect, please call AireMed Customer Service within 24 hours of the delivery. AireMed is not responsible for re-shipments, specifically if you type in an incorrect address online or order the wrong item. If you would like to exchange an item that has not been opened and is in the original box and packaging contact AireMed customer service and we will set up an exchange if it qualifies.
Which products are non-returnable?
We would love to process every return that comes our way because we understand that a return can result from a simple mistake, change in diagnosis, and more; however, due to health and safety regulations, bed bugs and other personal hygiene issues, we cannot take back everything. Some items are simply non-returnable.
Products that are not eligible for return are listed below.
- Hospital beds
- Patient lifts
- Air mattresses
- Special order parts and accessories: (lift chargers, bed motors, air mattress pumps, etc.)
- Foam mattresses
- Bed sheets
- Commodes
If the product you ordered is not on the list of non-returnable items, the following conditions
apply:
- The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping costs.
- The item must be in a new, unused condition, in the original packaging. If your item looks
opened and used at all it will be refused by us and returned to you. - All accessories, parts, and manuals that were included with the product must be returned.
- Outgoing freight and other delivery service fees which include next-day and overnight
shipping fees, inside delivery, white glove delivery, and tech set-up are not refundable.
Return Shipping
We will be happy to help you determine which shipping method to use once you have requested your RA number. We highly recommend insuring larger items for their retail value to protect against shipping damage. Please be sure to carefully follow all return-shipping instructions that are included with your Return Authorization number. If an item is returned to the wrong address, AireMed reserves the right to charge for any additional shipping fees associated with shipping the item to the correct location. In addition, if a scheduled pickup with a delivery carrier is missed, the customer is responsible for any fees associated with rescheduling the pickup.
Cancelled Orders
Orders cancelled after the item has shipped are subject to all standard return policies. It is the responsibility of the customer to refuse delivery and make sure the package is not delivered. Once an item is refused and returned to our warehouse, the original shipping and return shipping costs are deducted from the issued credit and a 15% restocking fee will be applied to your refund. Second Day and Next-Day shipping costs will not be credited if delivery is refused. Once your return is received, AireMed will issue a credit to the payment type used for the purchase. Please allow up to 4 weeks for your credit to be issued. If you pay by check or money order, we will issue a check within 30 days (about 4 and a half weeks). If your item is defective or was damaged in shipping, AireMed will replace the item at our cost, promptly.
